“A constant echo of a man’s inferiority more often than not leads to contempt for the self and those who represent that self.”

Tadiwa’s TAKE

This chapter profoundly exposes the psychological cost of inequality, how centuries of domination deform both the oppressed and the oppressor. The discussion of “horizontal hostility,” where the oppressed turn on one another, struck a deep emotional chord. The author doesn’t just critique systems; they uncover the emotional and mental scars left by prejudice. The analysis of internalised inferiority is heartbreaking yet necessary. True liberation is psychological before it is political. Until we heal the wounded mind, we cannot rebuild the world.
