HOW WOULD THAT MAKE YOU FEEL?

For me this got to me in a different way, I think. Rather, it raised more questions than answers. Questions like, is it wrong to be feminist? Is it wrong not to accept gays? Is there a religion that can be said to be the genuine thing to be followed by everyone? At the same time this part of the chapter opened up my mind and made me realise that one way or the other I have judged someone based on their culture, belief, or social norms without knowing I was judging them at some point. At the same time, given the knowledge that we have about our culture, is it the correct thing to do or is there some twist to it that causes more confusion each time we want to define issues from an African point of view. Like I mentioned, it raised more questions than answers… there is so much confusion among Africans. The main reason is that we have been diluting our culture and inheriting the things we should not be. Hence when the results manifest from the cultures we adopt, we are left with no solutions to the problems created.
